Using DadWhatCooks.com for Inspiration

On Dad What Cooks, I’ve made it easy to find meal inspiration using the search function. Whether you’re looking for a quick midweek dinner, ideas for a family feast, or something special for the weekend, the search bar is your best friend.

How to Use the Search Function

You’ll find the search bar at the top of every page. Simply type in an ingredient, a type of dish, or even a cooking method, and hit enter. For example, if you have chicken in the fridge and aren’t sure what to do with it, just type “chicken” and you’ll get a list of all my recipes featuring that ingredient.

Finding the Perfect Recipe

If you’re in the mood for something specific, like a slow cooker meal or a barbecue recipe, you can search for those terms too. The search function is designed to help you narrow down your options quickly, so you can find exactly what you need without scrolling endlessly.

Getting Inspired

One of the best ways to use the search function is for inspiration. If you’re not sure what to cook, try searching by occasion, like “family dinner” or “quick lunch.” You might discover a recipe you hadn’t considered before. Alternatively, search for a type of cuisine, such as “Italian” or “American,” to explore new flavours and ideas.

With the search function on Dad What Cooks, meal planning becomes easier and more enjoyable. Give it a go next time you’re stuck for ideas—I’m sure you’ll find the inspiration you need!
